I was in a dancing competition with my partner, Esponita. Things were going well, the judges favoring us over the competition. But the night was not over. The fat lady had not sung. It had come down to us and the gay Swedish couple, Hans and Franz. The four of us were breezing through every move in the book, that is, all but one. The Time-warp. The Time-warp was a legendary move that Esponita and I had only tried once in practice. This almost ended badly for her. I could tell we needed something big to beat Hans and Franz. As soon as they started The Bumblebee I looked in Esponita's eyes and i could tell from her gaze that she understood. We quickly broke into a foxtrot and continued for about a minute. When she was ready, Esponita dove in my arms and I threw her horizontally in the air, spinning as she flew. I caught her on the way down, and we merged into a jive. We continued for half a minute, then she dove in my arms. I threw her, I caught her, and we danced in the contemporary style for 15 seconds. Then she dove, I threw her, and we break danced for 10 seconds. We did this for 10 minutes, dancing non-stop. By the time we were done we had so much adrenaline pumping, I smacked one on Esponita's lips right there and then. It was a move I had stolen from Hans and Franz. We won hands down.
